100 Ways to Motivate Yourself: Change Your Life Forever

This was a novel that I fell in love with right away. It's a quick read with some interesting and original concepts sprinkled throughout. The term "yellow river" refers to the employment of a highlighter pen to highlight some brilliant phrases that can provide an instant "state change" and incentive to look at a situation from a different angle. It was updated in 2004 and now feels vibrant and fresh.

I wasn't aware of the author's previous works when I purchased this one, and while there may be some stretching of notions to generate new novels, I still believe this is an excellent place to start with this author. I've reviewed and will continue to review other books in this genre, awarding 5 stars when a book has a significant impact.

I enjoy this author's writing style, which is warm and pleasant, and avoids "religion" while being an American. It is unquestionably worthwhile to purchase because it is a good pick-me-up with some useful advice. The idea of lighting my "lazy dynamite" appealed to me greatly. A book like this will usually find a fresh technique to persuade you to do what you already know you should be doing. So, for minor approaches and modifications, I am confident that most people will find this useful. Consider Jack Canfield or Brian Tracy if you want the "transform your life forever" type of breakthrough promised on the cover.
